COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear Patient:
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office.
We are currently open for Emergency Only, and from 2nd June we are hoping to resume our regular dental services.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
- Our office will ask some screening questions when scheduling your appointment. You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office, along with temperature check.
- WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING WALK IN PATIENTS. All appointments must be schedule beforehand and booked by phone or email, to reduce footfall.
- We have placed a hand hygiene station in the reception area that we will ask you to use when you enter and leave the office. You will also find hand sanitizers in the surgery room and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
- You may see that our waiting room area has been restricted to use. Patients will be asked to wait in their own vehicle where appropriate and establish phone contact on arrival, to help manage attendance and check in.
- Our toilets have also been restricted to use. Toothbrushing should be avoided within the facilities.
- All use of mobile phone is restricted on the premises. Patients are also encouraged to remove all jewellery and bring fewer personal belongings as possible to their dental appointment.
- Hand hygiene, Respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette are being promoted with more emphasis in our Practice.
- Social distancing has been promoted as much as possible on the premises, please be aware.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
- Patient should attend appointment alone preferably, except in case a carer or guardian is needed.
